British Poultry Science Ltd is also a recognised charity and the company has a Travel Fund allowing number of grants to be awarded towards the costs of attendance at scientific meetings, workshops or study trips associated with any aspects of poultry science. There are three application cycles per annum. Applications to more than one funding body are allowable BUT you must declare these on the application form. We liaise closely with other funding bodies to identify undeclared multiple applications. Preference is generally given to Early Career Scientists (first 15 years) and must be participating in meetings (e.g. presenting papers or posters) as distinct from just attending). 3 years must elapse between a significant grant and another being awarded.
CLOSING DATES FOR APPLICATIONS ARE 31ST JANUARY, 31ST MAY and 30TH SEPTEMBER EACH YEAR.
